How to Clean Your Vehicle before Wrapping
Hand scrub/wash the vehicle the day prior to delivering it to us, and dry it thoroughly so no dirt is left behind.
Important Note: Do not power-wash the vehicle because power washing may not remove all contaminants. Be careful not to use soap that has wax added to it, and do not use any wax solution after washing it. Avoid automated car washes because they often use waxy substances or Rain-X-type additives. If you have
Rain-X on your windows, graphics will not adhere to them. Remove Rain-X with rubbing alcohol or a mixture of white vinegar and strong dishwashing liquid.
If your vehicle is not clean, our crew will clean it. There is an additional $125 per-hour fee for this service, with a minimum one-hour charge. Please note that the time required to clean a vehicle comes out of the production time allotted to install your vehicle’s graphics, and in some cases may cause rescheduling.
Delivering Your Vehicle
Please drop off your vehicle at Shine On Signs and Graphics the day prior to graphics installation, or per prior agreement. We are located just east of Ikea at 259 SW 41st St, Renton, WA 98057. Our shop hours are 9:00 to 5:00, Monday through Thursday and 9:00 to 3:30 on Fridays. If you need to drop off your vehicle outside of these hours, please make alternate arrangements in advance.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Once the work order is placed, you are financially responsible for all time and material scheduled for your vehicle graphics. If the order is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, no refunds will be made.
